NSW Parliament requests Supreme Court, NSW Law Society and Sydney University to review all-male speaking panels

This morning the NSW Legislative Council unanimously adopted the following resolution calling on the state's leading legal institutions to review the use of all male speaking panels and consider the "Speakers Pledge" program that would see at least 40% female speakers at conferences and events.

The NSW Government today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the prestigious National Institute of Materials Science in Japan which will allow greater collaboration between NIMS and the research institutes in NSW.
